• Yes, it is certainly large enough to do that. However I would not use the autosensing feature to decide how much water it uses – and select the amount of water manually

• Most queen sized comforters can fit in 3.5 cubic feet washing machines; since this is 3.9 cubic feet it should be able to support washing a comforter.

• Hello Steve! This model does have a lot of space, however, materials and thickness can vary with bedding. We would recommend following the Manufactures instructions on the bedding and if placing in the unit to not overload. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
