• Only the two outer rings on the coil turn red. Not happy as it takes to long to boil. It may be a lemon so will check on replacing it or getting something g different.

• Hi princess the coils are electronically controlled to provide the temperature you select, the coil will heat but you may only see the outer turning red. They element will turn on and off to maintain the temperature selected.
