“Does this cooktop have a vent underneath? I am converting an electric cooktop to a gas and do not have vents underneath. I do however have a built in microwave above it that has a vent.”

The cooktop is not a downflow top. My microwave oven is above the cooktop and it does an excellent job of clearing out any smoke that is generated from steam or cooking.
