Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends upon what type of range /cooktop you use. The installation manual says the distance between the countertop and hood bottom line. From that information you can calculate the the distance to ventilation cut. Add the countertop height from the finished floor with the distance between countertop and then add distance between hood bottom line and vent opening (vent opening distance vary depending upon how far you go to the ceiling).
