“Power off at Breaker? would you need to turn off the power/breaker to install this range hood? I'm a woman trying to figure out if I can replace my old vent hood myself or if I need to pay them to install it for me. Thank you”

• Yes you need to turn off the power/breaker to install this hood. We had an electrician install it for us.

• YES! Always turn off any electricity when working with wiring. It is fairly easy to install. I would recommend having another person helping you. I had never installed a range hood before. It took about 1 1/2 hours from reading instructions, taking out old hood, and replacing new. Take your time and it will look great!

• Any type of installation that involves a range should include turning off the breaker and shutting off the gas if applicable.
