Hi Sal, this particular trim kit is for countertop Microwaves. The Microwave Hood you have listed here is intended for a standard 30" install over a standard 30" cooktop. If you have a larger cooktop, you will need to look at a larger vent hood, built to accommodate the 36" larger or commercial size cooktops.
