“I need a Whirlpool microwave to replace my dead GT4175SPS-3 microwave. I thought the WMC50522HZ with a Trim kit MK2220AZ would work, but it seems there will be a noticeable gap around the microwave when installed. How is this addressed to look "fitted"?”

Hi Ruby, you will need to measure the opening, then have a look at the overall dimensions on the kit. It may be that your opening is a larger nonstandard size in which case may require a custom trim kit.
