“I am looking a buying a Whirlpool 27" microwave (YWMC30516HZ) along with the trim kit (MK2167AS) to install in a cabinet From the pictures of the trim kit, I cannot see any slots for ventilation. Will it vent? Thanks Sigma”

Hi Sigma, you will see the gaps on the sides will all proper airflow for the unit to work properly. The MK2167AS trim kit will allow all necessary ventilation as long as the Kit is properly installed.
