“I have the Whirlpool 30" WMH 31017HS 1.7 Cu Ft. microwave and bought this trim kit. It does not seem to fit as the brackets do not align on the bottom of the microwave. Is this accurate? Both are whirlpool products.”

Hello PAT, model WMH31017HS cannot use a trim kit. Since it is an Over the Range model there is no trim kit for that model. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
