With the exception of refrigerators with a water and ice feature in the door, all of our refrigerators can be ordered without an ice maker from the dealer. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can remove the ice maker, as it comes with it, but you have to install it. We did not want to run a line for the water in our villa, so we never did put it in. Just remove the big ice tray, and you will have that side free. It is a plus that this fridge comes with it for the price, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. There's just a few screws holding the ice maker in place and they are easy to get out once you have removed the top drawer of the freezer. The drawer itself is more tricky than the ice maker, but look on youtube for a video on popping it out and it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes.
