“I followed the directions for adding the fabric softener during the rinse cycle . I had to pause the cycle to unlock the lid and after doing so and restarting it the wash cycle started over again instead of going back to the rinse cycle??”

The same thing happened to me twice. I am just going to use the Downy ball, this is a pain. If I had realized I wouldn’t have bought it.

Please make sure the water has stop filling before pausing the cycle to add the fabric softener. If you continuing to have concerns please call Whirlpool® at 800-253-1301.
