• Pedestals are not required, but for front-loaders, it makes it much easier to load/un-load. The pedestals also provide storage underneath the machines.

• This is my second front loading washer I never had the pedestal added option If that’s what your referring to ??? I personally don’t see the need Or the expense This washer has adjustable leveling ability Works fine Performs fine I think it’s a matter of preference I hope this helps Kyle

• No. They are not required. I don’t have them installed. But I could see where the bases would make it more convenient to load and unload.
