OK, the "unplug and plug it back in" recommendation does not work. Our WFW5620HW needed resetting every time after a power outage. Bought the service manual... there is a keycode to reset the computer. You need to go into Diagnostic Mode. Press each of these these buttons ONE AT A TIME in this order ... three times in a row: SOIL - SPIN - TEMP SOIL - SPIN - TEMP SOIL - SPIN - TEMP Then press the power button. Should come back online - reset the front panel. If it doesn't work.... do it a couple times. That is Diagnostic Mode. It will NOT stay in diagnostic mode because of a design flaw. You have to turn off CYCLE SOUNDS / BEEPS To turn off CYCLE SOUNDS / BEEPS - Power ON the washer and press and hold the STEAM CLEAN button for 5 seconds. You can then go into full Diagnostic Mode by pressing each of these these buttons ONE AT A TIME in this order ... three times in a row: SOIL - SPIN - TEMP SOIL - SPIN - TEMP SOIL - SPIN - TEMP Look up the button sequences for different things. I had to buy the service manual. Nobody posts this answer because they want to make service $$. This model really is an expensive low-end front loader. I will never buy another front loader ever again. Hope this helps... landru at itadvocate dot com
