A:AnswerLike most (all?) front loaders, this machine has a fast final spin to wring most water out of the clothes. This can press the clothes to the sides of the drum. Not sure what stuck means though. The clothes are easy enough to remove and don't seem to be damaged in any way.

A:AnswerMitch, mine did, but the model number you gave is for the washer. If you pull out the drawer of your pedestal, there will be a pedestal model number on a label on the side of the drawer. My model number was XHPC155XW1. According to both Whirlpool and Best Buy, it should not have worked - but it did! The front of the pedestal does not stick out as far as the correct (new) pedestal would have, but all the mounting holes and slots lined up perfectly and the drawer works fine. It just looks a bit different with the drawer front set back about an inch from the bottom front of the washer. If you don't mind the look, save yourself $250 and try the old pedestal before you buy a new one.
(If you really want to be sure, look up the dimensions of the old and new pedestals online (using the correct model numbers), and check the locations of the mounting holes and slots. That's what I did. Turns out that Whirlpool has not changed the hole/slot locations in many years, just the cosmetic look of the drawer fronts.)
