“I put too few clothes in the washer. The top has locked and wont open. How do I fix this so I can start again with more clothes in it?”

We would recommend that you shut off power to the Washer from the circuit breaker for at least 5 minutes. If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool at 800-253-1301. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. They will be better able to assist you.
