While I own this machine for less than a month, I would say No under normal usage. The reason any washer leaves white spots on black clothing can be many, which include: overloading, type of detergent, and the use of water. For example, overloading the washer prevents the agitator from working properly and would cause the detergent stuck among clothing. If washing with a cold water cycle, the washing detergent may not dissolve properly thus leave the white residue on clothing.

You have to pour water down the bleach dispenser to rinse or any residual bleach left behind to prevent staining subsequent loads.
