- Answer Hi, This model does not have a downdraft. This unit can be paired with a Canopy style hood or a Microwave hood combination to help with proper venting. We hope this helps.

- Answer I can tell you that my cat has done it many times, even when the panel is locked. All it takes is one paw on the "start" button long enough to do it. He's turned the oven on. I have to remember to put my iron skillet over the panel.

Questionhow quickly do the elements heat up? Is it faster than previous models?

- Answer They heat up pretty fast, but it isn't the same as a gas range for sure. Even on high, it takes soooooo unbelievably long to boil some water that I've started using an electric kettle first, and then pouring the hot water into the pot. That's pretty bad. I though it would work better, to be honest.

QuestionIs there a way to adjust the door so that it comes all the way up? It's low enough to show the inside tags and I almost can't get my hands in between the top and bottom draw.
