“Why do specifications say "smooth top" when everything else indicates this is a "coil burner" range? Which is it really?”

Hi DutchessCarr, the WEC310S0FS heating for the cooktop is provided by coil elements and they are placed on a smooth top for easier cleaning and pleasing look. Sorry for the confusion!
