Very simply the unit needs outside air so venting through the wall will work. My unit came with a kit for venting out the window. I don't think it would be much challenge to "adapt" the same kit for through the wall venting. Bigger challenge will be making the installation water tight on the outside and decorative on the inside.

This model comes with a hose plate attachment that will slide to a variable length/width of most windows, for venting and intake of both exhaust and fresh air. You mileage may vary on actually going through a wall, as this would take some DIY cutting and patching for this wall, however this could be done.
