“Looking for Whirlpool to respond...during the bake cycle..the oven cycles what seems like every 6 min between on and off sounds...seems very frequent is this normal?..I know it has to maintain the temperature but my last whirlpool didn't go on/off every 6”

Our experience has been similar in that the oven cycles on and off pretty often. My last range didn't but also did not maintain a constant temperature. This was a deal breaker for us. So I believe this range is designed for precision baking at a specific temp and needs to cycle on and off often. In our experience we consider this a great design.

While in use, the oven elements will cycle on and off as needed to maintain a consistent temperature, but they may run slightly hot or cool at any point in time due to this cycling. Opening the oven door while in use will release the hot air and cool the oven which could impact the cooking time and performance. It is recommended to use the oven light to monitor cooking progress.
