Does this machine have a place for fabric softener? I was looking at another one by this same brand and it stated you had to put the downy balls---

Hi Betty, this does have a dispenser for fabric softener.

Yes, one slot for softener, and another for bleach. There is also a tray which holds 40 loads of detergent .

You can use liquid softener.  The dispenser is located at the top left when the lid is open.

I have this model and yes it does. As far as I know it’s per load NOT load and go. Has a separate place for bleach as well. I was looking to see about the fabric softener myself because HE just used an entire liquid container of fabric softener thinking it was the same as the detergent!!!!!! Bottom line… answer is yes but can’t so far find an actual answer on the per load or load n go.
