Didn't try yet but maybe I have solution... Go into your Whirlpool app and hit shortcut to show all washer features. Then go into utility cycles. I think drain and spin should do it. Hope that works. I've had same issue few days ago so wish i knew about this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This washer has a ton of options: There is a drain & spin as well as a rinse & spin! Just click on the more options button. You can even set the speed of the spin: low, medium, high, etc.
