The installation of my range included a bracket in the back so that it anchors to the floor and won't tip forward when you open the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.its also a code violation to not have it bolted bc of children who might sit on the door, which could result in tipping over
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told the bolts would not be seen from the front. This is used as a safety measure. The bolting will be free . I like the idea of having aa appliance that will not tip over and might save a young Childs life, I was also told that the stove can still be pulled forward so I would be able to clean behind as needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours is not bolted to the floor and we were not told that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if you have kids leaning on the open oven door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Angie, we supply what is called an anti-tip bracket for installation that is meant to keep the unit in place and as a safety measure. You can further investigate what that entails by going to the Use and Care Guide and referring to page 9. Here is that link: https://bit.ly/3rHnv3R It is however a very simple install. We hope this helps!
