When cleaning oven does air vent need to be on? null

Clean the oven with vinegar and baking soda, I would not use the clean mode it will heat you oven 500 degree for a while then shut off - once you turn it on you can’t shut off. Open you window and turn your vent on - it burns your spill spot until it is ash
