Please try again later.sealed burners versus open i can tell you this- if you want to use large cookware like pressure cookers and canners on regular burners it is possible (because i did so twice) to destroy the burners due to over heating, I would think the solid burners would be more suited for this. I also had a glass top break using a large pressure cooker and that is why i purchased a gas stove.
