- Answer Hello Claire, In case of a prolonged power failure, the surface burners cannot be lit manually. No attempt should be made to operate the appliance during a power failure.

QuestionI have this stove and sadly cannot get a straight answer from Whirlpool. What griddle is compatible. CONTACTING PARTS IS NOT AN ANSWER - Parts will only tell you that they can not replace the griddle because it doesn’t come with one.
