“Is the front of the stove 40 inches tall or just the back? My cabinets/counter tops are 36 so I need to know what it measures height wise in the front. Thanks”

Hello Susan, The height of the cooktop is . 36" (91.4 cm) height to top of cooktop edge with leveling legs screwed all the way in.* The back vent adds 1 3/16" (3.0 cm) height from cooktop to top of vent. We hope this helps.
