“re "energy" setting? The salesperson said the "energy" setting is a moisture sensor, however I just looked at the specs, and it says it does NOT have a moisture sensor. So what does the energy setting do or for? How does it DIFFER from a moisture sensor?”

I was told that the dryer estimates the weight of the clothes (including the water they include) initially, and uses that estimate to determine how long it should run in order to dry the clothes. As a result, sometimes the clothes aren't completely dry when the dryer stops. In that case, I just turn it on again for another 10 or so minutes. Perhaps not having a moisture sensor could be beneficial. The moisture sensor in my old dryer sometimes didn't notice that the clothes were dry, and the dryer would run for hours. When I manually turned it off, the clothes would be really hot. I'm lucky that didn't cause a fire.
