It is illegal in most jurisdictions to hard wire a dryer.

As electrical requirements change from region to region, it is up to the purchaser to determine which cords will work for them. The unit can be direct wired but you will want to check with your local city hall or planning department to make sure you are following your areas codes. Per the manual: If connecting by direct wire: Power supply cable must match power supply (4-wire or 3-wire) and be: ■ Flexible armored cable or nonmetallic sheathed copper cable (with ground wire), covered with flexible metallic conduit. All current-carrying wires must be insulated. ■ 10-gauge solid copper wire (do not use aluminum). ■ At least 5 ft. (1.52 m) long. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy's two delivery men totally installed the new Washer & Dryer in our newly rented 2 bedroom apartment in Williamstown, KY. Ordered in Avon, OH 250 miles away a month in advance. Delivery was extremely late - scheduled at 10 AM- Noon. Arrived at 5 PM. Delivery men from New York area working for Best Buy in Kentucky area because they could not hire local delivery men. Don't know why, but that was the excuse they were late - Not familiar with the area. Washer & Dryer both ran before they left. If you are asking will they hard wire the dryer from the electrical panel to the dryer location, I doubt it. If the standard dryer receptacle is at the dryer location, no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't know what you mean by 'hardwired'. This dryer uses a conventional dryer cord, and if you choose to purchase the cord kit, and the dryer vent kit along with the dryer, BB will install it and hook it up for you (usually for free).
