“I asked why the washer and matching dryer are of different heights. I was told it is because the dryer has to accommodate a larger drum. Well........then make the washer taller!!! A washer and dryer that are "matched" should be the same height.”

The taller the machines are, the harder it is to retrieve washed items. I cannot reach inside the drum of the washer. I'm 5'2" I have to use a "reacher" to grab things.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also wish they were the same height, however I have a large laundry sorter in my laundry room and I use the top surface of this sorter to lay my clothes on top while getting out of the dryer. I do agree the same height would have been nice.
