“Why is the matching washer 3 inches shorter than the dryer? I want them to be of equal height.”

• The control panel is higher than the washer control panel, however the top of the dryer is half inch higher than the washer. See photos. I agree they should have made them equal but it's hardly noticeable.

• doesn't bother me. The washer is deeper and the lid adds to a little more height.

• They are equal in height. You need to install the adjusters in the washer for leveling it out then it will be the same height.

• My washer and dryer is of equal height. I had the geek squad from Best Buy to install and they did an excellent job. No unevenness at all.

• Hello Bonnie, the dryer has to accommodate for the larger drum that is in the appliance. We are sorry for any frustration this may have caused.
