QuestionI need to replace a Whirlpool Duet dryer, which currently sits on a Whirlpool (storage) pedestal that I purchased with that dryer. Will this Whirlpool dryer fit on that pedestal?

- Answer We sprayed our Kenmore HE pedestals we have had for 25 years. All holes lined up. We had to drill holes for the anti vibration pads we bought. Front contour alittle different but works.

QuestionHow much clearance from the back wall is required? How many inches up is the vent, and how many inches from the sides is the vent? Also, can the dryer be vented through a fitting straight down through the floor?
