Hello, Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool® appliances. This Dryer, model WGD5605MW, can be installed without a pedestal. The pedestal is an optional accessory that is purchased separately. There are both a 10" Pedestal (XHP1000XW) and a 15.5" Pedestal (WFP2715HW) that pair with this Dryer. We hope this helps!
