Yes it “bangs” in the early cycle phase when it starts filling. Otherwise I don’t notice it being loud. Not sure what that’s all about!

I had a front loader before this one and comparing the two I would say YES. It is a very nice machine though. I love how my clothes come out looking much cleaner.

Yes the washer is rather louder than any other washer.

I don't think it's any louder than my old front loader. Just makes different noises. And my clothes smell so much cleaner now!!!
