DeeR, you do not have to have a steam Dryer and Washer as they function and are installed separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see no reason you cannot do that. Installing the steam option on the dryer requires a simple y pipe with one connection going to the dryer, Your installer should be able to that quite easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We only purchased the dryer. Our washer does not have a steam feature. Steam feature requires a connection to the cold water line. You will need a “Y” connector to connect to the cold water line. Then one leg of the Y will go to the washer and the other leg of the Y will go to the dryer

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have the washing machine without steam and the dryer with steam. It’s a great setup with no issues. The washing machine with steam wasn’t available so we went without and are happy with it.
