Do you mean stains that seem to come from the steam vent? I haven't had any problems with that, but I did have some smudges that were difficult to remove after installation. I used Bar Keeper's Friend on the marks and over several applications, the smudges have been reduced to barely visible. I have to admit that the stainless has been harder to keep clean than I expected.
