“does the door stay propped open half way? Hi, For anyone that owns this... does your dishwasher door stay propped open around 4-5 inches without any trouble? We just bought this dishwasher about a month ago and so far I love a lot abut it. But I like to run a cycle before bed and then leave the door propped open to finish up the last bit of drying overnight. With our old Electrolux, the washer door would stay at any point I left it open at. But so far, every time I have left the door open on this one literally more than an inch, at some point within 5-10 mins, the whole door will come slamming down, silverware crashing and all. (I have tried this with no silverware in the door and it still comes crashing down). I would like to know others' experiences with this please!”

Yes! This dishwasher does that. That was important to me, too. The door stays open wherever you want it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to adjust your door spring tension. It's explained I your install manual. You will need to completely remove the dishwasher. I would advise you to remove it and return it. It's junk!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours stays open fine, and I think the problem you are having is with the tension spring. You should be able to take the bottom panel off under the door, and adjust it to fix your issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I leave it open to get the dishes dry and I do not have problems. I leave open for about 2-3 inches. But I think with only 1/2 inches it still does fine, meaning, stays open.
