QuestionMine never dries dishes very well. How do I know if the heating element is not working or it's just by design can't dry dishes very well?

- Answer When the unit is drying you should be able to see steam come from the vent. It is very hot. If it is on drying cycle and it does not feel hot then the element is not working.

QuestionI am on City water & it seems to be very hard water or high in calicum. It leaves terrible spots on everything. It also leaves spots & build up on my stainless steel sink. I am wondering if the correct dishwasher, detergent & rinseaid.

QuestionWhat detergent do you use in this? The installation guy said not to use gel packs with this model but then he gave us a sample of gel packs to use so we're confused.

QuestionDoes this dishwasher have adjustable tines that can lay down or stay up? I have a dishwasher I hate because they all broke early on and cant be fixed. I want permanent fixed tines top and bottom.

- Answer Two rows of tines in top rack can be laid down. Seem very sturdy -- would take a lot to break them.

- Answer I just replaced and installed this unit myself and did not have a height issue. The 4 legs can change in height to accommodate your space. I do not see a real difference between this "tall tub" and our old dishwasher.

- Answer Fingerprints show every time I open and close it. I wipe it with a damp soft cloth and they seem to go away. I have one spot I am still working on-not sure if its grease or oil. I've had it for a week.
