QuestionI recently bought the Whirlpool 4.3 Cu. Ft. Compact Dryer, 2.3 Cu. Ft. Front-Loading Washer, and this Stack Kit. After GeekSquad installed them, the stack kit is not flush with washer & dryer. It sticks out a lot. Is that normal?

QuestionDoes this mean that the stack apparatus will increase the height of the W/D combo 24" ??? Adding 24" to the height of both of them? That will go thru the ceiling! The pic just does not look that high...

- Answer The stacker kit did fit for WFW5090JW Front Load Compact and WHD5090GW ELEC 4.3 CF but installers installed it wrong and it was a hassle to get them to install it correctly. Originally they installed the dryer about four inches back from the washer's vertical plane. It was a hassle to get them to come back and do it correctly. Ultimately, they installed it correctly so the units stacked flush with the vertical plane.
