• We apologize, but our Washers and Dryers are sold in pairs, with special designs that make them compatible and safe for pedestals. We do not recommend using the Whirlpool pedestal for non-Whirlpool appliances as it could make them unsafe to operate in your home.

• I not sure how it could be. Because the machines are bolted into the pedestal. I believe it's done to prevent falling over during a fast spin cycle. In order for the two different brands to work together the screw holes would have to be in the same placement.
