Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to Whisker with this question! We recommend that kitties using our Robots are 5 pounds or more so that the sensors can work properly. If they have trouble getting in and out of our units, we do sell our Ramps that can attach straight to the unit and help with that, We hope this helps! Best, Whisker
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got my litter robot about two weeks ago when my kitten was 22 weeks old. She gets in and out easily. It is a big step so I ended up buying the additional steps and it seems to be working well. The main thing is if the kitty is heavy enough to register in the litter robot so it will clean when the kitten leaves.
