“I see this unit is a stand alone, but does it connect to a direct water line with a filter? Is the ice clear or cloudy? I am trying to replace a stand alone ice maker that was connect to in-line water line with a filter. Thanks, Gunny”

This does connect to a water line ...and always put a separate water filter..I used a Woder 10000 gallon filter ...ice is perfect!
