The unit is a fridge that comes with temperature control, it comes with a tray to put distilled water to bring up humidification inside

No Electronic humidification system it does come with a water tray for distill water. Read my review they're having issues with the fan and Temperature Control

No, it’s basically a refrigerator. I placed some beads on mine and its keeping a perfect 70% humidity.

No. it provides NO humidifcation. You must provide some type either beads, cigar Oasis, etc. It is simply a wine cooler converted very nicely into a wineador.
