“Is this wine cooler loud or quiet when plugged in? Will it fit Champagne bottles?”

It’s about as loud as any other small fridge. It gets louder and softer depending on how much load it has. When the compressor is running, it sounds like a laptop fan running high. When the compressor is off it is silent. I think that it will fit champagne bottles with no problem. For even wider bottles (like port) I take the bottom shelf out and store them on the floor of the fridge.

This is a thermoelectric unit which does not have a compressor, the only noise generated will be from the fan. The shelves are removable to allow for taller items if needed.
