It will certainly help. I haven’t found a larger capacity portable unit. You could look at window units or the more expensive split units which get more pricey as well as more requirements to install.

It is a good size so placement has to be considered. Just keep in mind that if you have high humidity in your area, it may build up water in it’s tank and you might have to have a drain tube directed outside. The drain port is just a few inches off the ground so a small hole at that height might have to be bored through the wall to allow it to drain. It is rated for quite a bit of humidity, but the bigger the room...
