The temperature inside has to stay above 45 degrees for it to work properly. I keep mine on 62 degrees.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These models use a heat pump for heating, which will not operate effectively when the outside temperature drops below 41°F. At 10°F, the heating function will not work. You can disconnect the intake hose and allow the unit to draw air from the room to reduce the impact of low outdoor temperatures.
