This is self evaporative product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on where you live & the humidity in the air...... I live in south texas about 45 min from the beach.... I have had the unit for about 3 weeks & I have emptied it once, but I only turn it on in the evenings.... I would not want the water to evaporate in my bedroom because the extra moisture could create mold.... It is easy to empty. I am 5'tall & I just tilt it & it drains easily. The unit has a sensor that if it is full of water it stops cooling & just leaves the fan running. No spill.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do have to have a hose that will release the fluid outside the unit in some form or fashion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would guess that would depend on the humidity in your area, I live in Arizona so nothing comes out of the hose. if you live in a very humid area, moisture may come out, this could be solve by putting a plastic bottle, from dollar store, or old milk bottle, taped to the end of hose
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will depend on the humidity in your area. If you remove the drain hose then the self evaporating feature kicks in. Once the internal tank gets full it will give you a warning & shut down. At which time you need to drain it. If you use the drain hose instead, you just need to have a place for the water to drain to and self evaporate will no longer be active.
