“How loud is the unit when working ? I am considering putting it in a home theatre room, that currently has one central air vent, which is not cooling adequately. To access a window, it would have to go behind one of the home theatre chairs.”

very quiet, better than a window unit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it may be too loud to put behind a chair that someone is sitting in plus I think the cool air venting out would be uncomfortable to someone sitting to close to the unit.
