• According to the instruction manual you are to set the control to "6" for at least 2 hours. Control is numbered 1 to 6. The temperature will not go above freezing even when the the dial is set at "1" setting. Food should be stored at 0 degrees and it is alway a good idea to have a thermometer to check the efficiency of the unit. So far my unit is very quiet and serving me well..
