Does the air on this unit blow out or directed up? null

The air flow is directed from the top of the unit. The advantage is that cold air does not blast out of face of unit. It is directed up, into the room.

Blows up at about a 45 degree angle. From our low window mounting it is about 8ft high 8ft away from the wall. You can feel the cool air mixing and coming down the other wall.
